GB Bank has appointed Jude Miranda as senior credit partner and Alan Fitzpatrick as head of lending operations, as it sets its sights on £500m of new lending in the next six months.
Miranda joins the bank with more than 30 years’ experience across roles at Shawbrook Bank, Masthaven Bank, Hampshire Trust Bank and Glenhawk.
He will support the growth of GB Bank’s property lending portfolio while maintaining credit quality and enabling agile lending decisions.
Fitzpatrick brings operational experience from roles including head of mortgage originations at Metro Bank, VP of lending operations at Habito and head of property finance at Nomo. He will lead end-to-end lending operations and focus on efficiency, scalability and broker service.
The bank has also launched a summer internship programme, offering students hands-on experience across multiple departments. Interns will contribute to live projects and develop practical skills over the summer break.
Mike Says, CEO at GB Bank, said: “We’re investing in talent to match our growth ambition. The appointment of Jude and Alan will give us even greater capacity to support complex, high-value deals with speed and confidence.
“In addition, our internship programme reflects our ongoing commitment to support the next generation of lending professionals.”
Jude Miranda, senior credit partner at GB Bank, commented: “GB Bank’s ability to combine the credibility of a regulated bank with the agility of a specialist lender is what makes it such an exciting place to be.
“I’m looking forward to supporting brokers with credit decisions that are commercial, fast and grounded in real-world understanding.”
