Hinckley & Rugby for Intermediaries has confirmed four internal promotions within its sales and distribution team, reinforcing both its telephone and field-based support for brokers.
The changes include new leadership responsibilities and expanded regional roles, with a focus on maintaining high service standards and strengthening intermediary relationships.
Lizzie Atkins has been promoted from internal sales team leader to sales team manager, assuming full responsibility for both the telephony and broker assist teams.
Starting her new role on 1st May, Atkins now reports to Laura Sneddon, head of mortgage sales and distribution.
She has several years of experience with the Society and will lead the day-to-day management and development of the internal sales function.
Sophie Hancock moved into a new position as field business development manager for the South on 19th May.
Previously a telephone BDM, Hancock will focus on broker engagement and relationship management across the region, offering face-to-face support for complex cases and criteria.
Lauren Bayliss has been promoted to senior telephone BDM, also effective from 19th May.
Reporting to Atkins, she will continue to provide telephone-based support and take on additional team responsibilities, including mentoring newer colleagues.
Robin Thira stepped up from a business development assistant role to become a telephone BDM on 1st May. He now works directly with brokers to handle mortgage enquiries and offer case support.
The promotions follow the Society’s recent launch of a new remortgage product in partnership with PEXA and a series of mortgage rate cuts across its product range, including Core, Fixed, Income Flex, Credit Flex and Flex Plus.
Laura Sneddon, head of mortgage sales and distribution at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society, said: “Our sales team is central to the service we provide to brokers.
“These promotions are a reflection of the hard work and talent we’re fortunate to have within the team, and each individual has shown real desire to support our intermediary partners, and it’s brilliant to see them taking the next step in their careers.
“As we continue to grow and adapt to the market, making sure we have the right people in the right roles is key.
“These changes will help us continue delivering the personal, knowledgeable support that brokers value.”
