Leeds Building Society has strengthened its mortgage distribution team with the appointments of two senior corporate account managers.
Helen Cawthra re-joins the society after a previous spell between 2016 and 2018.
She moved from Vida Homeloans, where she was head of intermediary relationships, and has 24 years’ experience in financial services including roles at Accord Mortgages and Lloyds Banking Group.
Cawthra will work on building relationships with current partners and making new connections in the sector.
Andy Sykes also joins as senior corporate account manager from Primis, where he was regional sales director.
Sykes has over 20 years’ experience with lenders, including Lloyds Banking Group and TSB, where he was part of, then led, the national accounts team.
Cawthra and Sykes will be responsible for delivering the corporate account strategy for the society’s intermediary partners.
James O’Reilly, head of intermediary partnerships at Leeds Building Society, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Helen and Andy to the team.
“Their appointments mark an exciting step forward as we continue to invest in the strength and depth of our intermediary relationships.
“Both bring a wealth of experience and exciting new ideas to the team, and we look forward to introducing them to all of our partners.”
