L&Q Group reveals new directorate and changes to executive leadership

L&Q Group will combine its property services and development and sales teams into a new property and investment directorate.

David Lewis will become executive group director – property and investment from 1st August 2025.

Lewis is currently executive group director – property services, where he led work on the £3bn, 15-year major works investment programme.

Vicky Savage, executive group director – development and sales, has decided to leave to pursue new opportunities.

Fiona Fletcher-Smith, CEO at L&Q Group, said: “We’re almost at the end of our current five-year strategy, which has seen us increase investment in residents’ existing homes to sector-leading levels.

“This is something we’ve been able to achieve through our property services and development and sales directorates working together to better understand the condition of resident’s homes, and to help us to provide more effective, localised services to them by strategically transferring homes to other registered providers, where they do not lie within our core operational areas of Greater London and Greater Manchester.

“Providing existing and new social homes that are efficient for us to maintain and affordable for residents to live in will continue to be a major priority for us.”

Fletcher-Smith added: “This change is a logical next step to improve our efficiency even further, and deliver a holistic approach to ensuring the long-term quality of new and existing homes.”
