Muse appoints project director to lead North West development schemes

Muse has appointed Stuart Rimmer as project director in the North West.

Rimmer has over 40 years’ experience in construction, property and development, having most recently worked at Landsec and before that, Peel L&P.

He led on projects such as the regeneration of MediaCity UK in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester.

At Muse, Rimmer will work on delivering projects across the North West, drawing on his experience in residential, commercial and retail sectors.

This includes continuing his involvement in Salford, leading the next phase of the £2.5bn Crescent Salford masterplan and the redevelopment of Eccles Town Centre with Salford City Council.

Rimmer said: “I’m pleased to be joining the team and look forward to supporting Muse to continue to flourish in the North West.

“Over the years I have come to recognise the excellent placemaking work Muse has delivered in the region and I am looking forward to working with the expert team and our partners to create place-changing regeneration.”

Stuart Rogers, director of project management at Muse – North West, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Stuart to the team.

“He joins Muse with a wide breadth of experience and knowledge delivering projects across a range of sectors in the North West.

“His diverse portfolio will add real value to our team as we push forward with several mixed-use regeneration projects across the region.”

Rogers added: “His skills and insight into Salford will be invaluable as we progress our plans in the city and its surrounding areas.

“As a Salfordian himself, he will play a key role to ensure we continue to create places the Salford community can be proud of.”
