SimpliSafe and Co-op Insurance have partnered to offer Co-op Insurance policyholders a discounted home security kit.
The partnership allows new and renewing home insurance customers to buy the SimpliSafe Home Security Kit, usually worth £425, for £99.
The kit includes entry and motion sensors, an indoor camera, and a water and temperature sensor.
Research commissioned by Co-op Insurance found that almost one in three (29%) homeowners said they had been victims of theft from their home.
Among those without a security camera, more than three in five (62%) said they would feel more secure if they had one.
The SimpliSafe system is designed for easy installation and use, with an option for 24/7 monitoring.
The water and temperature sensor offers early warnings of leaks and possible burst pipes.
