The Intermediary has extended the public voting period for the 2025 National Mortgage Awards – Second Charge by two weeks, with the deadline now set for 18th July.
The decision follows a sharp rise in last-minute entry submissions and a request from several broker firms for additional time to review categories and cast votes.
The awards, now in their second year, recognise excellence across the second charge mortgage sector and are open to all parts of the industry.
Martin Davies, group events director at Astor Media, publisher of The Intermediary, said: “We’ve had a strong volume of entries in the final days before the original deadline, which has led to more firms wanting to make sure their votes count.
“Given that this is a broker-led process and we want to ensure fair representation across the sector, extending the window was the right call.”
Voting remains open at https://nationalmortgageawards.com/nominate-2025/. The awards ceremony will take place on 23rd October at The Underglobe, London, with Jeff Stelling confirmed as host.
Table bookings and sponsorship enquiries are now open. Further details are available at https://nationalmortgageawards.com.
