YouConvey has appointed Teresa Abols (pictured) as senior business development manager (BDM), making a move to strengthen its broker partnerships.
Abols brings nearly 20 years’ experience in the mortgage and property sector, having spent 19 years at Goldsmith Williams (GW) Legal, where she held the roles of senior BDM and later head of account management.
At GW Legal, Abols was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mortgage brokers and financial advisers, supporting clients from first contact through to completion, and providing direct customer support.
At YouConvey, she will work once again with Eddie Goldsmith, founder of YouConvey and former senior partner at Goldsmith Williams.
Abols said: “I wouldn’t be back in the industry if it wasn’t for Eddie, but I feel like I’m back with the best and I’m excited to be part of such an innovative company that really cares about its customers and brokers.
“At YouConvey, clients can receive, complete, and return all documents online the same day. That’s a game-changer.
“It’s fast-paced, transparent, and designed around the client – and it also supports brokers with built-in referral fees.”
Abols added: “I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when solicitors and mortgage brokers work together as one team for the client’s benefit.
“I’m excited to bring that same spirit to YouConvey – but this time with the added advantage of smart technology, ensuring a seamless process for all.
“I’ve spent nearly 20 years building these relationships, and many introducers have become good friends.”
She said: “It’s time to reconnect with those contacts whilst forming relationships with new brokers and letting them know there’s a new kid on the block.”
Goldsmith said: “Bringing Teresa on board feels like reuniting with one of the most dynamic forces in the industry.
“She has a rare understanding of both the conveyancing process and the needs of brokers, and she’s trusted across the board.
“Teresa helped shape the BDM model we built at GW, and she’ll be instrumental in scaling our broker engagement at YouConvey.”
Goldsmith added: “There’s no one better suited to champion our mission of simplifying home moves for clients and brokers alike.”
