Avocado Property Agents celebrates fifth anniversary £10m commission milestone

Avocado Property Agents has marked its fifth anniversary by hitting £10m in banked commission and supporting over £800m in property sales since 2020.

Mike Robson (pictured), co-founder at Avocado Property Agents, said the milestone reflected the success of the firm’s model.

Robson said: “This isn’t just a financial figure — it’s a validation of the approach we’ve taken.

“We’ve built something that empowers agents to thrive on their own terms, while delivering real results for clients.”

“At the heart of Avocado’s model is a simple belief: when you invest in great people, great results follow.

“Rather than focusing on volume-based KPIs and rigid corporate structures, Avocado supports its self-employed agents to run their own businesses with full marketing and operational support.”

Robson added: “We’re not aiming to be the biggest agency in the UK, but we do want to create the best place to be an estate agent — one where hard work is rewarded, creativity is encouraged, and agents are in control of their own direction.”

Ian Macbeth, co-founder at Avocado Property Agents, said the set-up had helped many former high street agents improve their pay and flexibility.

Macbeth said: “Our agents aren’t tied to scripts or targets. They’re focused on helping people move well — and they’re doing so with energy, credibility and the freedom to work their own way.”
