Residents from The 1840 in Wandsworth came together for a summer garden social on 21st August, hosted by developer City & Country.
Neighbours met in the landscaped gardens to socialise and learn about the site’s history.
City & Country staff attended, along with representatives from electric bike provider Forest, which recently set up a sustainable travel partnership at The 1840.
Attendees were offered local food and could join design-led tours of the show home with the interiors team.
The event also introduced City & Country’s sustainable travel programme, offering 12 months of free travel credits for new buyers, and highlighted the ‘Recommend a Friend’ initiative.
Shelley West, group sales & marketing director at City & Country, said: “Placemaking is at the heart of what we do as a responsible developer.
“We take our responsibility to create exceptional places to live in very seriously, and we understand the importance of fostering connections with our neighbours and giving back to local communities wherever possible.
“Welcoming residents, neighbours and our partners to The 1840 provided an opportunity for us to continue to strengthen our important community links, and celebrate the architectural heritage and prestige of The 1840.”
