FOLK2FOLK, the peer-to-peer business lending platform, has appointed Tracey Gott (pictured) as relationship manager.
Gott joined the business before the summer and has already built strong broker engagement in her first few months.
With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, including 18 years at Barclays and more than six years as a senior business manager at a commercial brokerage, Gott brings extensive experience in commercial finance, SME lending, and stakeholder management.
As part of the national relationship management team, she will closely with FOLK2FOLK’s broker network to deliver property-secured loans to UK businesses ready to start, grow, or diversify.
Roy Warren, managing director of FOLK2FOLK, said: “Tracey’s experience on both sides of the lending relationship – as a broker and now as a lender – gives her a unique perspective.
“She understands what matters to brokers, clients, and lenders alike, and she brings an energy and empathy that’s already proving valuable. We’re delighted to have her on the team.”
Gott added: “I’m learning to think like a lender but I can already see how valuable my broker perspective is.
“I think there’s real strength in wearing both hats as it helps with understanding and enables smarter conversations all around.”
