Mark Farmer has been appointed to the board of directors of the Future Homes Hub, bringing over three decades of experience in the construction and real estate sectors.
Farmer set up Cast and was its CEO from 2016 to 2025.
In 2023, the Department for Education appointed him to lead a review of the construction and engineering construction industry training boards, published in January 2025.
The board includes senior leaders from Government, industry, housing, finance, sustainability and innovation.
Farmer said: “The Future Homes Hub is playing a pivotal role in coordinating the sector’s response to climate and environmental challenges.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to its strategic direction and helping ensure that we embed innovation, sustainability and resilience into the mainstream of homebuilding.”
