HTB completes £6.5m MUFB refinance in 36 hours with Empire Global

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has completed a £6.5m refinancing facility for a 63-unit multi-unit freehold block (MUFB) in a high-demand urban location, completing just 36 hours after issuing the formal mortgage offer.

The deal was introduced by Empire Global and required close coordination across all parties to meet a hard deadline and align with the client’s wider refinancing strategy.

The transaction was led by Annie Crust, Denis Arefvev and Alysha Jorgensen at HTB, with legal support from Helen Johnston at Arch Law.

The client, an experienced portfolio landlord, sought a lender able to structure a tailored facility quickly and reliably. The asset was valued at £8.75m.
