MSP Capital is running its annual beach volleyball competition in Bournemouth to raise money for Julia’s House and Lewis-Manning hospice charities.
Players from 20 Dorset companies and organisations, mostly in the property sector, are taking part for the fourth year in a row.
The event has already raised over £40,000 since it started in 2022.
The teams work in areas including property development, consultancy, asset management, estate agency, legal support, surveying, accountancy, internet marketing, IT, recruitment and office rental.
Six-a-side mixed teams play 15 minute pool matches on four sand courts, with the top scorers going through to a knockout stage.
Leigh Bartlett, CEO of MSP Capital, said: “As well as being a well-established summer highlight, our annual volleyball championships are a fantastic, fun way to bring people together.
“We look forward to welcoming teams from across the property industry for some friendly, spirited competition to raise funds for two brilliant local charities.
“It promises to be another memorable tournament, and I’d like to wish every team the best of luck as they take to the court.”
MSP Capital is again running and hosting the event, as well as sponsoring it.
This year’s competition is scheduled for 4th September 2025 near Bournemouth pier, starting at 12.30pm.
Beach volleyball organiser Deep Dish will help run the event and will provide a compere, referees and a DJ on the day.
