Redwood Bank appoints Jane Hand as regional development manager for the North-East

Redwood Bank has expanded its North-East operations with the appointment of Jane Hand as regional development manager, underlining its commitment to a service-led approach that prioritises personal relationships in business lending.

Hand brings almost 40 years of banking experience, having held roles as a branch manager, business development officer and, most recently, relationship manager supporting Redwood’s top 50 customers.

She has worked across the Bank’s business development and relationship management teams, gaining valuable insight into its operations and collaborative culture.

She said: “I’ve always believed that people buy from people. Rates matter, of course, but what sets Redwood apart is the personal touch, being accessible, responsive and tenacious when it comes to supporting our brokers and customers.”

In her new role, Hand will cover the North-East region. “I want our brokers to feel confident that they can pick up the phone and get things moving. My goal is to be that dependable contact they know will get things done.

“This opportunity plays to my strengths. I enjoy working with people, finding solutions and helping brokers navigate complex deals – especially when a bespoke approach is needed.”

Andre Parcian, head of business development (Midlands, Wales and North East), said: “Jane’s promotion is a testament to the talent we’ve nurtured within Redwood.

“Her deep understanding of our customers, dedication to personal service and her ability to build strong relationships make her ideally suited to lead our presence in the North-East.

“I have every confidence she’ll make a real difference for the brokers and businesses we support in the region.”
