Savills has appointed Ben Cook as associate director to its Midlands planning team in Birmingham.
Cook brings over 10 years of experience in residential and commercial planning, having worked for landowners, developers and land promoters.
He joins from Stantec, where he was planning associate director.
He led planning projects across the West Midlands, including securing planning permission for residential developments in Coventry, Tamworth, and Hinckley and Bosworth, as well as employment schemes in Slough.
His work has included brownfield, greenfield and green belt sites.
Cook said: “I’m excited to be joining Savills and contributing to the continued growth of the Midlands Planning team.
