Swiss Re has announced the appointment of Robin Spencer as chief operating officer (COO) of its Life & Health Reinsurance business unit, effective 1st September 2025.
Based in London, Spencer will oversee Swiss Re’s global Life & Health Re operations with responsibility for service delivery, operational efficiency and aligning team capabilities with the unit’s business priorities.
His role will also cover an expanded operational remit across all Life & Health Re functions, including the introduction of new data and technology-driven solutions designed to support business performance and scalability.
Spencer has more than 20 years of experience in international re/insurance leadership roles across Asia, Europe and North America. He previously served as COO of Prudential Asia and as CEO of Prudential Thailand.
