Vitality has appointed Dr Rishi Patel as clinical operations director, bringing him in to lead all clinical operations and efficiency across the health insurance division.
Patel joins the health insurance business’s leadership team, where he will oversee clinical operations and focus on clinical standards and efficiency in the claims process for members.
Patel joins from Bupa, where he held several roles across UK and group functions, including clinical innovation lead, head of clinical transformation and head of health services proposition.
Before this, Patel worked as a public health doctor in the NHS and has held roles in public, private and academic healthcare sectors globally.
