Gracie Group launches in London with £550m property portfolio

Gracie Group, a London property developer, has launched into the London market with a £550m portfolio.

The company has delivered residential and mixed-use projects across the capital since 2012 through special purpose vehicles, but this is the first time it is operating under its own name.

The group is looking for sites without planning permission, mainly in North London, with land values up to £30m.

Its land fund has immediate capital to secure more opportunities in London’s sought-after postcodes.

Completed schemes include The Clay Yard in West Hampstead, 39 Fitzjohn’s Avenue in Hampstead, Moxon Street in High Barnet and Netherhall Gardens in Hampstead.

Each project has focused on placemaking, architecture, sustainability and resident experience.

The most recent development, The Clay Yard, is a mixed-use scheme in Camden that covers 1.12 hectares and includes an 11-storey residential tower, a 40,000 square foot commercial building and 106 apartments.

Camden Council promoted the site as part of its Community Investment Programme and Gracie Group delivered all the accommodation, handing the commercial space back to the council.

Gennaro D’Alo, development director at Gracie Group, said: “For over ten years we have been passionately shaping some of the capitals most exciting property projects.

“Launching under the Gracie Group name allows us to move forward with a clear vision to promote sustainable, resilient places through careful listening, collaborative leadership and design-led delivery.

“With our robust land fund and a £550 million portfolio already under management, we establish our position in the London market with ambition and confidence.”
