Octopus Capital has promoted Hollie Hanrahan (pictured) to the newly created role of chief operating officer (COO).
Hanrahan will report to CEO Lieven Debruyne and will be responsible for supporting strategic execution and working to drive operational scalability and efficiency across the business.
Hanrahan first joined the real estate team at Octopus Capital as investment and operations director in 2023, where she handled corporate development, central functions, and people strategy.
Before joining Octopus Capital, she spent 16 years at Lloyds Banking Group.
Hanrahan said: “I’m really looking forward to the new role for a whole host of reasons.
“These include moving beyond just real estate and shaping the full institutional business for growth, as well as pushing for our collective goal of investment excellence.
“I also look forward to supporting our key focus on purpose-led investing in the sectors where it really matters.”
