UTB Mortgages is set to celebrate a major milestone, marking 10 years since it completed its first mortgage.
UTB completed 52 second charge loans worth £2.3m in 2015.
It now completes more than £500m of loans a year.
The business has grown from two partner firms in 2015 to over 3,150 and 9,500 advisers.
The mortgages team started with four people sharing roles and now has 25 underwriters, 12 dedicated sales specialists and a total team of 72.
Additionally, the lender now offers nearly 300 different products, ranging from Bank of England trackers to 5-year fixes.
UTB has also invested in technology, including a digital broker portal, biometric ID checks and artificial intelligence to support customer service and underwriting.
Buster Tolfree (pictured), director of mortgages at United Trust Bank, said: “This is fantastic milestone for everyone at UTB Mortgages.
“From completing just £2.3m of loans in our first year to building a £500m+ annual completions business today, our journey has been remarkable.
“The last decade has thrown everything at the mortgage industry – Brexit, COVID-19, high inflation and rising interest rates – yet we’ve continued to grow, invest and deliver for brokers and their customers.”
Tolfree added: “What sets us apart is the way we combine innovative products and cutting-edge technology with the personal touch of our brilliant team.
“Flexibility, speed and common sense are in our DNA, and with the support of thousands of broker partners, we’re very excited about what the next 10 years will bring.”
