Vitality appoints Luke Donald and Iona Stephen as golf ambassadors

Vitality has announced professional golfer Luke Donald and golf broadcaster and former professional player Iona Stephen as its newest ambassadors, highlighting its commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles through sport.

They are the first golf ambassadors to join Vitality, becoming part of a line-up that also includes Keely Hodgkinson and Maro Itoje.

The company said golf’s emphasis on walking and outdoor activity makes it a strong tool for building healthy habits. Vitality’s Habits Index shows that even small, consistent actions such as walking 5,000 steps a day can improve long-term wellbeing and reduce health risks.

Nick Read, managing director at Vitality, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Luke and Iona to our ambassador family.

“At Vitality, we work with people who share our commitment to helping people live active and healthy lives and their shared passion for golf and its power to build healthy habits makes them ideal ambassadors to help us encourage more people to take small, consistent steps towards long-term wellbeing – we’re excited to work with both Luke and Iona to inspire our members and other communities.”

Luke Donald said: “I’m proud to be joining Vitality as an ambassador. Golf has always helped me stay active and focused, and I believe in its power to support healthier habits.

“I’m looking forward to working with Vitality to encourage people to move more and feel the benefits of an active lifestyle.”

Iona Stephen said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Vitality ambassador family. I’m passionate about helping people discover the joy of being active, whether that’s through golf or any other sport.

“Vitality’s mission to make movement a natural part of everyday life really resonates with me, and I’m excited to support their work in inspiring more people to get active regularly.”
