Bowmer + Kirkland has appointed John Foster (pictured) as business improvement director to lead digital transformation across its construction regions.
Foster has spent his whole career in construction, working across different roles from pre-construction to setting up and leading regional teams.
In this new role, Foster will look at processes across construction projects and operations, covering quality, environment, sustainability and digital construction.
The aim is to use data and insight to put in place a digitalisation strategy that helps teams work more efficiently and increase productivity.
Foster said: “I am looking forward to playing a key part in the digital evolution of B+K, my priority will be to thoroughly understand the business from the ground up, reviewing current processes and getting to know the people that make it all happen.
“Digital transformation in construction isn’t about creating more data and workload, it’s about improving lives: reducing wasted effort, unlocking insights, and giving people back their time.”
