Online auction activity stayed strong in the third quarter, with 3,181 properties sold between July and September, up 11% on last year, according to the latest Q3 Online Auction Index from iamproperty.
Sales totalled £555m, with partner agents earning £12m in fees, a 12% rise year-on-year.
There were 56,459 property viewings and 18,235 bids placed over the quarter, with completions reaching 2,913.
Demand for fast, secure and transparent transactions stayed high, as buyers and sellers looked for certainty in the face of economic uncertainty and possible tax changes.
Natasha Watkins, assistant sales manager at John Shepard, said: “We’ve had an exceptional year working with iamproperty, and the results speak for themselves.
“The auction process has consistently delivered impressive outcomes, helping us achieve faster sales, motivated buyers, and strong prices.
“Their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success, making the entire experience seamless.”
Watkins added: “iamproperty has become a key part of our sales strategy, and we’re looking forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.”
