Pennyfarthing Homes has strengthened its senior leadership team with the promotion of Nick Stone to land and planning director, recognising his pivotal role in the company’s land and planning strategy and his contribution to its sustained growth over the past 15 years.
Stone joined Pennyfarthing Homes in 2010 as land manager and has been instrumental in identifying, securing, and promoting key residential sites across Dorset and the New Forest.
In his new role, he will oversee the land and planning function, focusing on securing a further 500 units through a combination of immediate and strategic opportunities to support the business’s long-term growth ambitions.
Mark Adams, executive chairman at Pennyfarthing Homes, said: “Nick’s promotion reflects both his deep understanding of the land market and his consistent ability to deliver results.
“His strategic insight and collaborative approach will be vital as we continue to navigate a challenging planning and economic environment.
“We’re confident he will play a key role in driving the next phase of our expansion.”
With a continued appetite for growth, Pennyfarthing Homes is actively seeking conversations with landowners, agents, and promoters across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the New Forest who are interested in bringing forward development opportunities.
The business remains committed to expanding its land bank and securing long-term, sustainable sites that align with its quality and community-focused values.
Nick Stone, land and planning director, added: “I’m proud to have developed my career with Pennyfarthing Homes and to now lead our talented land and planning team.
“The market continues to present challenges, but also opportunities for those who can move decisively.
“My focus will be on strengthening our land pipeline and securing quality sites to deliver at least 500 additional homes over the coming years.”
Pennyfarthing Homes continues to build on its reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable developments across the South, combining local expertise with a long-term, strategic approach to land acquisition.
