bpha posts strong results in half-year report

bpha reported a steady performance in its half-year financial results for the six months to 30th September 2025.

Satisfaction rose by 4.2% for rental customers and 5.7% for homeowners.

Customers had more say in decisions, with the service improvement panel reviewing core services and helping shape a new repairs policy.

Additionally, bpha completed Bury Court, the second block in its Bedford regeneration project, improving energy efficiency and cutting costs for residents.

The group also increased investment in making homes more energy efficient, with 93% now rated energy performance certificate (EPC) level C or above.

Julian Pearce, chief financial officer at bpha, said: “We are pleased to report a solid first half performance for the six months ended 30 September 2025.

“We increased our capital investment in existing homes, reflecting our commitment to meet the high ‘bpha standard’ that we have set.

“Our development programme continued at pace – with spend increasing to £39.5m.”

Pearce added: “While the economic environment continues to be challenging, our strategy ensures we will continue to invest in the upkeep of our customers’ homes and respond to opportunities to provide more much-needed homes.”
