FCS Compliance has announced the next instalment in its free webinar series for property professionals, focusing on customer due diligence (CDD) and practical anti-money laundering compliance.
The session, ‘Ask the experts – everything you need to know about customer due diligence’, will be held live at 10am on Thursday 27th November.
The webinar will take the form of an interactive panel discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to put questions directly to CDD specialists.
Topics are expected to include the differences between simplified and enhanced due diligence, how to verify complex ownership structures, and the potential risks of relying on third-party CDD.
The aim is to provide participants with the confidence to handle routine and complex CDD scenarios in property transactions.
The expert panel will include Stephen Williamson, lead AML consultant in the property division at FCS Compliance; Caroline Walters, director of quality standards at FCS Compliance; and senior AML consultant Jen Siwicki.
