L&G’s Retail business has appointed Donna Cowell to the newly created role of head of reinsurance, UK protection.
Cowell will work across both L&G’s Retail and Group Protection businesses to deliver a joined up and effective reinsurance strategy, reporting into Pippa Keefe, the commercial director of retail protection.
She will play a key role in developing L&G’s protection strategy, collaborating with reinsurers to deliver greater value for customers.
As a qualified actuary, Cowell brings almost 25 years of experience in financial services.
She joins L&G from Willis Towers Watson, where she was a director in its life insurance consulting and technology division, specialising in protection and reinsurance.
