The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) has announced a new series of webinars to help landlords prepare for the changes brought in by the Renters’ Rights Act, which has now become law.
The webinars are free and each session will focus on a different part of the legislation, followed by a live Q&A.
The first webinar takes place on 12th November from 11am to 12pm, offering a step-by-step guide on what landlords can do now and in the coming months to get ready.
A second session runs on 25th November, 11am to 12pm, and will explain how existing tenancies will move to assured periodic tenancies under the Act.
A third webinar is on 10th December from 11am to 12pm and will cover the new private rented sector database and landlord ombudsman.
Enforcement elements of the Act will start from 27th December.
The session will outline changes in local authority enforcement and what’s coming next, including new rules for registering on the private rented sector database and with the landlord ombudsman.
These sessions are for members only.
