PFS National Conference set to bring over 2,000 professionals together

Over 2,000 people have registered to attend the Personal Finance Society’s (PFS) National Conference, taking place today, 11th November.

The conference will bring together financial planning professionals, exhibitors, speakers and media.

England footballers Beth Mead and Lucy Bronze will join Carla Brown, president of the PFS, to talk about overcoming challenges, determination and ambition.

The event will feature over 25 sessions across five theatres, covering issues like talent, advice, innovation and generation gaps in the sector.

Around 1,700 PFS members are expected to attend alongside other professionals.

The National Conference will include keynote sessions from Geoff Ramm, who will speak on client retention, and Kate Tuckley from the Financial Conduct Authority.

Brown said: “We are delighted to provide an opportunity for such a large community of financial planning professionals to come together at this year’s National Conference.

“The team has worked so hard to deliver a fantastic day of motivational learning and development, in recognition of our drive to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

“I’m especially pleased to welcome Beth Mead and Lucy Bronze, whose stories of resilience and determination will inspire us all to push boundaries and perform at our best.”
