Square 1 Media has launched a new brand identity and website as the specialist PR and communications agency builds its presence across the mortgage, property and specialist finance markets.
Founded in 2019, the agency has developed a strong reputation for media relations, thought leadership, content creation and events, and said the refresh marks a significant point in its evolution as it sharpens its focus on delivering influence, experience and results for clients in financial services.
The rebrand reflects its transition from a start-up to a boutique consultancy with extensive expertise and a proven track record.
The team has expanded in recent years through high-profile hires with decades of experience across PR, journalism and specialist lending.
Alex Hammond, director of Square 1 Media, said: “We’ve come a long way since 2019, and this rebrand reflects our ambition for the future.
“Square 1 Media has become a trusted partner to some of the most respected names in the mortgage and specialist finance market.
“Our refreshed brand better reflects the calibre of our people, the quality of our work, and the results we deliver.
“We’re excited about the road ahead and look forward to supporting both existing and new clients to grasp the opportunities in front of them.”
Square 1 Media now has more than 100 years of collective experience across the mortgage, specialist finance and property sectors.
The agency was founded by Paul Hunt, Rob Griffiths, Scott Philipson and Hammond, who together have built a consultancy recognised for its senior-led approach and deep industry knowledge.
Client services directors John Fitzsimons and Victoria Hartley, both former editors, strengthen the agency’s editorial capability, while PR account manager Crofton Bonney adds more than 15 years of experience across marketing, communications and events.
The agency has also expanded through graduate appointments, hiring Joseph Monaghan and Lily Coulson as PR account assistants.
The refreshed brand and visual identity were developed with design consultant Sean Cloudsdale.
Cloudsdale said: “It’s been refreshing to work with a client who knows exactly what they stand for and where they’re going.
“From the start, Square 1 Media had a clear vision of wanting to balance authority and approachability, and that clarity made for a creative and rewarding process.
“The new brand expresses their sharp, confident and experienced voice in a modern, compelling way.”
