Cushman & Wakefield has hired James Lewis (pictured) as a partner to lead its North West logistics and industrial team in Manchester.

Lewis joins after working as a director at Lambert Smith Hampton and Canmoor, bringing over 20 years’ experience in property.

He will work with George Turner, with the team expected to grow in 2026.

Richard Evans, head of UK logistics & industrial at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We’re delighted to welcome James to our logistics & industrial team in Manchester.

“He joins at a pivotal time in the sector and will play a vital role in our continued growth and presence supporting clients across the region.

“On both a national and regional level, we continue to see promising signs of recovery.”

Evans added: “The North West remains a premier and buoyant logistics market, and one which has seen continued rental growth recorded in recent years.

“The rental growth outlook for the region remains strong, particularly within the mid box market.

“The North West’s potential for significant consumer market recovery is looking positive as we head to 2026.”
