Lomond acquires Edinburgh lettings agent Littlejohns

Lomond has bought Littlejohns, Edinburgh’s longest-running lettings agent, as it continues to grow in Scotland.

Littlejohns will now be part of DJ Alexander, Lomond’s main brand in the region.

Lomond said the same level of service will continue under its ownership, supported by DJ Alexander’s experience.

David Alexander, chief revenue officer at Lomond, said: “Having known the owners and team at Littlejohns for many years, I’ve always been impressed by how they’ve grown while maintaining that personal, people-first approach to business.

“It’s a real privilege to continue their legacy and build on such a proud history, with values that align so closely to our own at DJ Alexander.”

Ian Shand, owner of Littlejohns, said: “Owning this well-established business for the past 25 years has been incredibly rewarding.

“Building lasting relationships with both our team and our clients has always been at the heart of our success and growth.

“This now feels like the right time to retire and pass the business to a person and organisation we trust to care for our clients as we have.”

Shand added: “In an evolving legislative landscape, we are confident their needs will be best served by a larger group with the scale, technology and expertise to support them into the future.”
