Love Finance has partnered with iwoca to speed up access to business funding for SMEs, integrating iwoca’s API directly into its lending platform.
The move marks a significant step in Love Finance’s mission to make business finance faster and simpler for UK firms.
The integration allows Love Finance to deliver real-time lending decisions, with iwoca’s technology checking each applicant’s eligibility instantly.
By automating key parts of the assessment process, the platform can offer faster, more accurate lending outcomes without compromising on flexibility for SMEs.
The partnership comes at a critical time for small businesses. According to iwoca’s SME Expert Index, 72% of brokers say speed of decision-making is one of the most important factors when selecting a lender.
The companies expect the integration to significantly reduce waiting times and remove barriers that traditionally slow down SME finance applications.
Love Finance has funded around £400m in loans for more than 8,000 SMEs, doubling revenue year on year while remaining profitable and independently founded. iwoca, one of Europe’s leading small business lenders, has lent more than £1bn to SMEs in 2025.
Alex O’Malley, chief commercial officer at Love Finance, said: “This partnership reinforces our position as a forward-thinking, agile lender delivering fast and efficient solutions to UK SMEs.
“Thanks to iwoca’s technology and partnership, we’re able to push our lending speed and transparency even further, making the business finance journey smoother, fairer, and more accessible than ever before.”
Colin Goldstein, chief commercial officer UK at iwoca, added: “Every business owner faces moments that matter – and needs quick, reliable support.
“By partnering with Love Finance, we’re making it easier for SMEs to access fast, flexible funding exactly when they need it, empowering them to focus on growing their businesses with confidence.”
The move aligns with Love Finance’s wider investment in technology-driven lending solutions and follows its recent £45m funding line to expand access to business finance across the UK.
