Vistry has completed contracts on two major sites in South Worcester and Bury St Edmunds, delivering over 3,500 new homes.
In South Worcester, the Hopfields development will bring more than 2,000 homes, with 20% affordable housing and a local centre.
Half of the homes are already pre-sold, with 800 affordable and private rented sector (PRS) properties, and 1,200 homes for open market sale through Linden Homes, Countryside, and Bovis Homes.
Many homes will use timber frames made by Vistry Works.
In Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Vistry has secured a 194-acre site for 1,375 homes, a new primary school, commercial space, a local centre, and a country park.
At least 30% of the homes are affordable.
The scheme has hybrid planning permission with reserved matters consent for 287 homes.
The project will roll out in phases over the next decade.
James Warrington, executive chair (north, south midlands and east division) at Vistry, said: “Large sites such as these demonstrate our long-term commitment to building more mixed-tenure homes at scale, helping to meet the acute shortage of affordable homes across the country.
“Thanks to the unique strengths of Vistry, we can make use of our retail brands Bovis Homes, Countryside and Linden Homes as well as taking advantage of the timber frame manufacturing capabilities of Vistry Works.”
