Market Harborough will offer residential lending and regulated bridging finance in Scotland, with loans from £200,000 to £5m and a maximum 80% loan-to-value (LTV).
Up to four applicants or income sources are accepted.
Mortgages are tiered based on case complexity.
Dedicated BDM support and tailored guidance for brokers in Scotland have also been introduced.
Brokers have direct access to case underwriters and the daily credit committee.
Iain Kirkpatrick (pictured), CEO of Market Harborough Building Society, said: “Brokers, including those based in Scotland, have consistently told us they want more choice, flexibility and more lenders who take the time to understand complex cases.
“Expanding into Scotland is a natural next step for us, and launching around Burns Night feels especially fitting because it’s a moment that celebrates heritage, community spirit and shared values.
“We’re excited to bring our passion, purpose and people-first approach to Scotland, supporting even more brokers and their clients with the same expertise and personal service we’re known for across England and Wales.”
