Santander to cut rates across higher LTV first-time buyer mortgage products

Santander will cut rates across its 85% to 95% LTV first-time buyer mortgages by up to 0.32%.

Santander will cut rates across its 85% to 95% loan-to-value (LTV) first-time buyer (FTB) mortgages by up to 0.32% from 17th February. 

The changes include both standard and new-build products, with rates starting from 3.92%.

The lender will offer a 5-year fixed rate at 95% LTV for 4.72% with no fee, and a 5-year fixed at 85% LTV for 4.17% with a £999 fee.

All reductions will be available direct and through brokers under Santander’s ‘no dual pricing’ pledge.

2-year fixed rates at 85% to 95% LTV for FTBs will reduce by up to 0.23%.

3-year fixed rates will reduce by up to 0.32%. 

5-year fixed rates will fall by up to 0.17%.

Cuts for new build FTB products will be at similar levels.

Santander will also cut rates for home-mover and large loan products.
