Haydock Finance announces leadership transition as CEO John Jenkins retires
Andy Taylor and Lee Pearson will jointly lead Haydock Finance from 30th March as John Jenkins prepares to step down after seven years as CEO.
Haydock Finance has announced a leadership succession plan that will see chief executive John Jenkins retire after seven years with the business.
Andy Taylor and Lee Pearson have been appointed by the board to jointly lead the company as it enters its next phase of growth.
Their appointments will take effect from 30th March, with Jenkins remaining in place to support the transition before departing at the end of June.
Taylor will become managing director and chief commercial officer, taking responsibility for commercial strategy and all activities supporting origination.
Pearson will assume the role of managing director and chief operating officer, with an expanded remit covering risk alongside operations, HR, IT, change and finance. Both will report directly to the board.
During Jenkins’ tenure, Haydock Finance said it strengthened its position in the asset finance market, expanded its capabilities and developed a high-performing leadership team to support long-term growth.
John Jenkins, chief executive at Haydock Finance, said: “The past seven years have been some of the most enjoyable and rewarding of my career.
“We have built a fantastic team and driven transformation and growth. I am delighted to be handing on to Andy and Lee and certain they will lead the business to continued success.”
