The Right Mortgage sets out details for National Training Event
The event will bring together advisers, lenders and providers for a day focused on business growth in a changing market.
The Right Mortgage (TRM) will hold its National Training Event for member firms on 12th March at the Vox Conference Centre, Resorts World in Birmingham.
The event will bring together advisers, lenders and providers for a day focused on business growth in a changing market.
The agenda will feature a welcome address from Martin Wilson, CEO of TRM, and Nicola Ventrella, operations director at TRM.
Ben Allen, managing director at TRM, will give a talk titled ‘Invested in Your Success’.
Dame Inga Beale, former CEO of Lloyds, will deliver a keynote speech on cultural and technological change.
Amanda Wilson, commercial and strategy director at TRM, will host an adviser panel session with Philippa Oliver of Kingsbridge Mortgages, Sam Clark of The Right Advice, James Sudworth of Righthomes and Darren Hunter of Hunter Mortgages.
Justus Brown, managing director of Acre, will speak about brokers and fintech.
There will also be a panel on technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and innovation hosted by Ventrella with speakers from Acre, Halifax, Nationwide and NatWest.
Derek Burt, director of home operations at Lloyds Banking Group, will present ‘Shaping Tomorrow Together’.
Liz Martins, UK economist at HSBC, will discuss the mortgage market outlook.
Clare Beardmore, director at L&G Mortgage Club, will provide a market overview.
Victoria Clark, head of lending at TRM, will lead a panel on lending with Coventry Building Society, HSBC, LiveMore Capital and Metro Bank.
Amy Wilson, head of insurance at TRM, will host a session on income protection with MetLife, National Friendly, Royal London, The Exeter and a member firm principal.
There will be two break-out rooms.
The later life lending room will feature talks from Aviva, Canada Life, Family Building Society, Perenna and Pure Retirement.
The private medical insurance room will include presentations from April International, AXA Health, The Exeter and Vitality. Attendees can visit an exhibitor hall to meet with lenders and providers.
