The funding has already been delivered to projects, with more investment set aside in the Society’s Charitable Foundation for future support.
The milestone comes as part of Market Harborough Building Society’s Thrive! Agenda, which has now become central to how the Society operates as a mutual lender.
The programme has influenced decision making, aimed to strengthen local resilience and supported financial confidence for members.
Iain Kirkpatrick (pictured), CEO of Market Harborough Building Society, said: “Reaching £1 million is something we are incredibly proud of, but it is not about the number.
