Veyco launches WhatsApp AI assistant for estate agents and law firms
The platform, which supports both chat and voice interactions, is already live with a group of estate agents and law firms.
Veyco has launched Veyco Chat, a WhatsApp-based AI assistant designed to help estate agents and law firms improve client communication and reduce administrative workload during property transactions.
The platform, which supports both chat and voice interactions, is already live with a group of estate agents and law firms, marking the first real-world deployment of Veyco’s AI-powered communication technology.
Veyco said the technology has been developed to address long-standing communication challenges across the property transaction process, where buyers and sellers are often left uncertain about what stage they have reached, what happens next, or when action is required.
The company said this lack of clarity frequently leads to repeated calls and emails, increasing pressure on estate agents and conveyancers while still leaving clients seeking reassurance.
Accessible through WhatsApp, Veyco Chat allows clients to ask questions and receive immediate responses in plain English, either via text or voice.
For estate agency clients, the assistant can explain the sales progression process and outline what to expect at each stage of a transaction.
For conveyancing clients, it handles routine enquiries around legal processes and timelines.
Veyco said the technology is designed to support, rather than replace, estate agents and conveyancers by handling repetitive inbound communication and allowing professionals to focus on progressing transactions and resolving more complex issues.
The platform has also been developed with data protection and compliance controls in place, ensuring it provides general guidance and process information without exposing sensitive or transaction-specific details inappropriately.
Veyco Chat is available free of charge to firms already using the company’s AML compliance services as part of their existing subscription.
Firms not currently using the platform can access the assistant through a standalone subscription.
The first live rollout includes one of Scotland’s largest conveyancing firms, which Veyco said reflects growing interest in practical technology solutions aimed at improving client experience and communication.
Clare McKenna, general manager at Veyco, said: “One of the biggest challenges in property is not the legal work itself, but the communication around it.
“Clients often feel unsure about what is happening, while conveyancers are balancing large caseloads and constant incoming queries.
“This is about making the whole experience simpler and more transparent for everyone in the chain.
“By giving clients access to clear, immediate information through a channel they already use every day, we reduce uncertainty on all sides without adding pressure to the professionals managing the transaction.
“It is also an example of how AI can be applied in a way that is practical and controlled, supporting professionals rather than trying to replace them.”
Veyco said it plans to expand the rollout of the assistant to additional estate agency groups, conveyancing firms and partners, while continuing to integrate the technology into existing workflows and client journeys.
