Nationwide cuts mortgage rates by up to 0.25%

The new rates apply to first-time buyer (FTB), home mover, remortgage and switcher products and will be effective from tomorrow, 26th June.

Nationwide will reduce fixed mortgage rates by up to 0.25% for new and existing customers. 

The new rates apply to first-time buyer (FTB), home mover, remortgage and switcher products and will be effective from tomorrow, 26th June. 

The lender’s lowest fixed rate now stands at 4.19%. 

FTBs will see reductions of up to 0.18% across 2-, 3-, 5- and 10-year fixed rate products up to 95% loan-to-value (LTV).

Remortgage customers will see reductions of up to 0.25% across 2-, 3- and 5-year fixed rate products up to 95% LTV.

Switchers coming to the end of their current deal will see reductions of up to 0.14% across 2-, 3- and 5-year fixed rate products up to 90% LTV.

FTBs and those moving home can also benefit from £500 cashback, and up to £500 cashback for energy-efficient properties purchased through Nationwide’s Green Reward.
