Barclays cuts residential mortgage rates across key products

The changes, effective from 9th July, affect both remortgage and purchase products.

Barclays will reduce rates across its residential mortgage range from tomorrow, 9th July 2026. 

The changes affect both remortgage and purchase products.

Selected remortgage deals such as the 2-year fixed at 60% loan-to-value (LTV) with a £999 fee will drop from 4.54% to 4.39%. 

The 5-year fixed at 75% LTV with a £999 fee will decrease from 4.91% to 4.85%.

On the purchase side, the 2-year fixed at 60% LTV with an £899 fee now sits at 4.25%, down from 4.30%.

The 5-year fixed at 85% LTV with no fee will be reduced from 4.80% to 4.69%.

Green Home and Springboard mortgages have also seen lower rates. 

The 2-year fixed Green Home at 60% LTV with no fee is now 4.35%, and the Springboard 5-year fixed at 95% LTV with no fee has gone from 4.99% to 4.95%.

Barclays has also cut rates for existing customers in the existing mortgage customer (EMC) Reward range, including the 2-year fixed at 60% LTV with a £999 fee, now at 4.39%, and the 5-year fixed at 75% LTV with no fee, now at 4.99%.
