Nottingham Building Society strengthens intermediary sales team with key promotions

Samantha Watts, Ami Cammack, and Lucy Smith have all been promoted, while Rachel Bridle has returned to the sales team following maternity leave.

Nottingham Building Society has promoted several members of its intermediary sales team.

Samantha Watts (pictured) has taken on a six-month secondment as national account manager, reporting to Matt Kingston, sales director. 

Watts will work with Beckie Morton, who is focusing on go-to-market planning for the Society’s updated proposition pipeline. 

Watts has worked as a field business development manager (BDM) supporting brokers in the South West since 2022.

Amirah Alyaus will now be the main contact for the South West to ensure brokers and partners have continued support.

Ami Cammack has been promoted to field BDM for the Central region, marking her fourth promotion since joining the Society in 2023. 

Lucy Smith has moved from intermediary support officer to telephone BDM, covering the London region. 

Rachel Bridle has returned to the sales team following maternity leave.

Kingston said: “We are entering an important next phase for Nottingham Building Society as we continue to build a mortgage proposition that reflects the realities of today’s market and the changing needs of borrowers.

Kingston added: “There is more to come from us in the second half of the year as we continue to develop specialist residential lending solutions designed to support customers whose circumstances may not fit traditional lending models. 

“Strengthening our sales leadership and account management capability is an important part of setting the Society up for future success.”
