Broadstone appoints two senior BDMs
Leo Brooks and Megan Ueltschy Scheps join as senior business development managers (BDMs) to boost its advisory services.

Broadstone Lending Advisory Services has appointed Leo Brooks (pictured, left) and Megan Ueltschy Scheps (pictured, right) as senior business development managers (BDMs).
Brooks brings more than 25 years of experience in banking, credit risk, portfolio management and regulatory remediation, having worked at HSBC, AIB, Clydesdale Bank and FSE Group.
His background covers commercial lending, distressed assets, governance and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) remediation.
Ueltschy Scheps has held managing director roles in the United States, leading relationship management, structured finance and commercial banking teams before moving to the UK.
She has managed complex corporate relationships, portfolio growth and strategic partnerships.
Brooks said: “Broadstone Lending Advisory Services has established an excellent reputation for helping organisations improve confidence rather than simply identify problems, and that approach really appealed to me.
“I am looking forward to working with lenders, investors and funding partners at a time when independent advice has never been more valuable.”
Ueltschy Scheps said: “The financial services market continues to place greater value on experience, judgement and trusted relationships.
“Broadstone Lending Advisory Services combines deep technical expertise with a genuinely collaborative approach that enables clients to solve complex challenges while strengthening long term confidence.
“It is an exciting time to join the business and contribute to its continued growth.”
John Barbour, senior director at Broadstone Lending Advisory Services, said: “The lending market has evolved considerably over the past few years.
“Access to capital remains important but confidence has become equally valuable.
“Investors, funders and lenders want independent assurance that businesses are well governed, operationally resilient and capable of managing increasingly sophisticated lending environments.”
Barbour added: “We have seen significant growth in demand for advisory services that strengthen confidence across the market, whether through due diligence, governance reviews, portfolio assurance or operational transformation.
“Leo and Megan bring outstanding banking experience from two different markets but share the same consultative approach that has become central to our business.
“Their combined expertise further strengthens our ability to support clients as they navigate an increasingly demanding commercial and regulatory landscape.”
