Check.co.uk has launched its free financial wellbeing platform, providing consumers with access to dual-bureau credit information and tools designed to improve financial readiness.

The FCA-regulated platform gives users free access to credit information from both Equifax and TransUnion, alongside credit monitoring, Open Banking insights and personalised guidance.

By showing information from two credit reference agencies, Check said it aims to provide a broader view than a single headline score, helping users identify issues which may affect their eligibility for finance.

Users can also book a free onboarding call with the Check team which covers their credit information and practical steps they can take to improve their position.

Following the call, they will receive a personalised action plan.

Matt Meecham, director at Check.co.uk said: “We believe the industry is moving beyond simply showing consumers a credit score. The future is about helping people understand their overall financial wellbeing.

“By combining dual-bureau credit information, Open Banking insights, personalised education and practical tools such as My Car and Vehicle Re-Finance, we’re giving consumers a much more complete picture of their finances.

“That helps people make better decisions, improve their eligibility for credit and approach major financial milestones, such as buying a home or refinancing a vehicle, with greater confidence.”
