ClearPath AI has raised £1m in pre-seed funding and launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-native platform connecting finance, property, legal and compliance.

The company’s ClearPathOS operates four specialist products – Finance AI, Property AI, Legal AI and Compliance AI – which can be used independently or alongside existing systems.

ClearPath Finance AI is designed for mortgage brokers, with specialist AI agents managing the case from fact-find and affordability through product selection, application, valuation and completion.

The platform can analyse payslips, review bank statements, build document checklists, chase missing documents, assess affordability, match cases against lender criteria and package lender applications.

It can also draft client updates, review case documentation, monitor case health and highlight what needs the adviser’s attention.

ClearPath Finance AI works with existing mortgage customer relationship management (CRM) and business systems, allowing brokers to use the technology without replacing their core platforms.

The product forms part of ClearPath’s wider strategy to connect mortgage, property and legal transactions, creating value for each organisation without requiring others to adopt the platform.

Where organisations connect, transactions can flow through the ClearPath ecosystem, with authorised information and documents moving between estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders and lawyers.

Verified client identity and information collected during the home move can be reused where permitted, removing the need for consumers to repeat the same process with different professionals.

Rudi Kesic, founder and CEO at ClearPath, said: “Mortgage technology has become incredibly sophisticated, but brokers still spend an enormous amount of time gathering information, checking documents, assessing cases, preparing applications and chasing progression.

“We’ve started from a different question: what happens when AI understands the mortgage case and can perform much of that work itself?

“Finance AI isn’t simply an assistant sitting next to a CRM. The AI operates across the case, while the broker remains responsible for the advice, judgement and client relationship.”

Kesic added: “One of the biggest frustrations in home moving is that the consumer effectively starts again every time they reach another professional.

“The estate agent collects information. The broker collects information. The lender needs information. The lawyer asks for information.

“Identity is checked, documents are requested and the client repeatedly explains the same transaction.”

He said: “We think the transaction should be able to carry that context with it.

“Where the client authorises it and the regulatory framework permits it, information that has already been verified shouldn’t simply disappear because the consumer has moved from one professional to another.

“Finance AI has to make the mortgage broker significantly more effective on its own.”

He added: “Property AI has to work for the estate agent and Legal AI for the law firm.

“But when those environments connect, ClearPath can begin to understand and help progress the home move as one transaction rather than a collection of disconnected cases.”
