Hope Capital Property Finance increases committed funding to £50m with Shawbrook Bank
The latest uplift marks the latest stage in the lender's relationship with Shawbrook, having initially secured a £15m facility in 2023 before subsequent increases in 2024 and 2025.

Hope Capital Property Finance has increased its committed funding facility with Shawbrook Bank to £50m following continued growth.
The latest uplift marks the latest stage in the lender’s relationship with Shawbrook, having initially secured a £15m facility in 2023 before subsequent increases in 2024 and 2025.
Hope Capital said the increase reflected its sustained growth and Shawbrook’s continued confidence in the business.
The enhanced facility follows a series of funding announcements as part of the lender’s wider funding strategy.
Earlier this quarter, Hope Capital increased its committed senior funding line, facilitated by Triple Point, to £75m, while in June it secured its first £35m committed funding line with Hampshire Trust Bank.
Hope Capital said it now has £160m of committed funding across its funding partners, strengthening its capacity to support growing demand for bridging finance.
The lender reported a 61% increase in its loan book during 2025, alongside an 86% rise in applications and a 46% increase in funded facilities.
Its lending pipeline grew by 15%, while loans exceeding their agreed term fell by 49%.
Growth has continued into 2026, with enquiries up 45% year-on-year and applications increasing by 30% compared with the same period last year.
Warren Mutch, head of speciality and fund finance at Shawbrook, said: “Hope Capital Property Finance has delivered consistent and sustainable growth, underpinned by disciplined underwriting and a clear strategic direction.
“It’s been rewarding to support the business over several years as our partnership has evolved, and this latest increase reflects both the strength of the relationship and our confidence in the team as they continue to expand.”
Kate Cowan, chief financial and operating officer at Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “This enhanced facility strengthens our day-to-day operational capacity and ensures we are well positioned to manage increasing volumes while maintaining the standard of service we are known for.
“Our focus remains on scaling sustainably and continuing to build on the success we’ve had.”
Jonathan Sealey, chief executive officer at Hope Capital Property Finance, added: “The continued support from Shawbrook Bank is a significant endorsement of both our performance and our long-term strategy.
“Alongside our recent funding milestones with Triple Point and Hampshire Trust Bank, this enhanced facility ensures we have the strength, flexibility and liquidity to continue supporting brokers and borrowers as demand for specialist bridging finance continues to grow.
“As we continue to expand, maintaining strong relationships with trusted funding partners remains central to our strategy and our ability to deliver market-leading service.”
