M&G Real Estate expands affordable housing portfolio with 211 home acquisition

M&G Real Estate has acquired 211 affordable homes from Hyde Group in West Sussex with a £29m investment from the M&G Affordable Living Fund. 

The homes are part of the Wildbridge development in Yapton, near Chichester, and are managed by Pinnacle Group, part of Hyde Group. 

The homes includes a mix of two to four-bedroom houses and low-rise apartments across Shared Ownership and social rent tenures. 

All properties are energy performance certificate (EPC) A-rated and fitted with air source heat pumps and solar panels.

Chris Jeffs, manager of the M&G Affordable Living Fund, said: “This investment reflects the role long term capital can play in expanding access to the highest quality, energy efficient affordable homes.
