TFAS Compliance Services has launched the next phase of its 2027 Ready Programme, with a month of webinars aimed at helping advisers prepare for incoming inheritance tax (IHT) and pensions changes.

The weekly webinars will feature Columbia Threadneedle, M&G, Aegon and Downing, with advisers attending all four able to access additional CPD.

The initiative forms part of TFAS’ wider programme of support ahead of the reforms coming into effect in April 2027.

The programme will continue in October with a main platform address from Quilter at The Financial Advice Summit, where participating partners will also be available to speak with delegates.

Further webinars are scheduled for November and December, with additional guidance planned for the first quarter of 2027.

TFAS launched a dedicated 2027 Ready hub last month, providing advisers with guidance and support from the programme’s partners.

The initiative also includes estate planning support from Beneficiary Wills and Trusts, care advice from My Care Consultant and consumer-facing materials from The Online Marketing Department.

TFAS has also developed a compliance toolkit containing a pension succession decision tool, a guide to the changes and planning measures, adviser considerations, client scenarios, frequently asked questions and an April 2027 readiness plan.

Richard Ardron, chief commercial officer at TFAS Enterprises, said: “We engaged with advisers early to understand exactly what support was required ahead of the April changes, and have collaborated with some of the industry’s leading experts to create a definitive programme of support to help advisers with client conversations around the changes and the impact this may have.”

“With such fundamental changes, we felt it imperative to have a good lead-up to April, ensuring everyone could access the information and support they needed, irrespective of where they were in terms of client engagement.”
